JB400

Funny how they painted the roof black, yet not the lower door on the inside.

For the sake of discussion, the roof appears to be a wrap.

When you are too cheap to buy a new door decal, that is a strong indication of build quality without seeing any more pictures.

The graphics scream, "You are a winner!"

Three questions I never thought I would ask:
1. What would a Daytona look like with a vinyl top?
2. When I build a clone do I really need to waste money on little things like deck lid hinges?
3. How many rivets does it take to cover a heater hose hole plate in a firewall?

DownZero

For that kind of money you would think you would at least get an entire exhaust system.

Funny Doug! I was wondering the same thing when I saw that 'tacky' VIN decal...

I certainly would NOT have included a picture of that in the listing...

I would still drive it even if it's not green :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Deffo HEMI money indeed!

Nice colour and well presented at $50K methinks?

Appearance of the car could easily be improved with a weekend of work and a heat gun.    What is not clear is how well it is sorted and drives.   With no power steering and no power brakes it could be user cruel.   Was this car put together for some kind of a promotion?  :shruggy:

I had to do that on my car  but it was painted pre ECS   we actually changed doors so we cut out a plate around the decal and welded it in the donor door   :rotz:
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

When the car is a custom, I don't really see the sin in mudding over the corners at the valance/quarter or not replacing the door jam decal. It's not a stock restoration or even an attempt to be a replica of anything specific.

What IS a sin is ending the exhaust under the front seat  :icon_smile_dissapprove:

i don't plan on putting the door decal back on a real car. bizarre that they thought it added anything to this one.

dave walden offered me one for free once my car was painted, but  that is no longer an option

perhaps down the road i would look into one, but there are a hundred other areas where that money is better spent

For the kind money they are looking for  the rear valance, corners, and quarter bottoms  need some love and as was said less would be more :slap:.
