I have an odd request. This is a portion of a photograph of an A&W my mother worked at in the early 60s to the mid 70s. My parents have passed and my sister is unsure of the year it was taken but know it was before I was born in '67. Can anyone identify what year and model that vehicle may have been?  Doesn't look like anything Mopar.  Thanks.

Quite possibly. I thought maybe a Beaumont but the Buick reflections and rear quarter trim looks closer. Too bad for that post in the way.

Note the squareness of the body, amount of fender and hood over the headlights, and the contour of the front bumper.  Even has a slight bow in the center of the grille.

Not a Lincoln due the pronounced middle hood and header body line or mold unexistant on the Lincoln. I'm toward to the LeSabre

The side sun reflections over hood and bumper says me they protude, just like the LeSabre. The Lincoln fender and bumpers protude on outer ends an would produce a shadow over hood, bumper and headlight which is not visible on the original pic, where in fact, corner of bumper is fully iluminated like no protusion there.

Not saying is a LeSabre, but between Lincoln and LeSabre, it looks more like the LeSabre

Look at the left rear quarter showing in the photo.  See the trim on the lower part of it.  It's clearer in the smaller version of the photo.

It's a Buick.

Definitely no. Same reason about the outer protusions explained about the Lincoln and the sun reflection on driver side corner on bumper

Leading edge of the hood on the Buick slants at much less of an angle than the Lincoln.  I'd think the sun would have highlighted the leading edge of the hood more on a Buick.  That detail is missing in the pic, leading me to the conclusion of the Lincoln.  The center highlight in the hood, may not be trim, just a slight rib, which is present in both cars.

Definitely a Buick

Wildcat, LeSabre, Electra 225
