Yes... Funny you say that.. Was chatting with a gent just this morning and he shared a picture of his former R4 Hemi Charger 500 with white interior and it had the thin-style rocker molding on it.....

Now how many 500's actually came with them originally? That is a question that can probably never get answered.. But yes, they did come with them..

My late C500 doesn't have 'em, which is fine by me, but my mates early C500 does...

My 71 GTX has 'em, but not any more lol... :slap:

but the M25 "rocker mouldings" were STANDARD on a '71 GTX VS. OPTIONAL on a '69 Charger 500  :icon_smile_big:

All four of my C500"s did have rocker moldings.

69_500

I have seen a grand total of 27 Charger 500's that are coded M25. They are spreading out all over the production run.

Those 71 GTX rocker moldings are extremely hard to find, and are very expensive, so most of the cars that I see are missing them.

YES!  Had that replaced due to an unfortunate garage accident.   Gean Gregory sold me one of his original spares for $4000.  Insurance company had a cow, but they covered it.

My memory isn't the greatest, but I never owned a set of K-H wheels.  Are you sure you sold me the rear window glass?

I think I videotaped that car at the first Las Vegas Mopar Nationals in 1996? Or one similar to it....

I bought that car car from Julius in 2004 (Julius restored for customer, then bought from customer years later).  It was originally restored sometime in the late 90s so it could have been the car.  Poster 69 500 apparently sold a back glass to someone who had a Hemi C500 with white/red gut.  Funny that we both broke our back glass at about the same time, on cars that were nearly identical.  How many white Hemi C500s with Red interior and red stripe did they produce?

RSI700VIPER did you have the column shift 4.10 white/red HEMI 500?  what time frame?  I know it from the mid-'80s

RSI700VIPER

That's the one.  I purchased it in 2004 and sold it sometime in 2007/8.  I still have a copy of the build sheet.

I was present in 1985 when the then owner took a hammer to every piece of glass in the car - rear glass was already out of the car on that day  :eek2:
I wanted that car - just never had the $$$ - had a 383 in it & I think it was priced around $2900

Small world.. Was over at his house Friday picking up his bumpers to his 68 Charger R/T to take with mine from the 500 and there was a picture of the 500 on a collage picture-board of past projects and personally own cars of J's..

Troy - If not for the divorce, that car would still be in my stable.  I actually tried to hunt it down about 4 years ago.  Last time I saw it, a dealer out in Ohio had it listed for $149K or there abouts.  I've since gotten over it but that was one sweet C500.  Julius does excellent work and knows mopars.

I'm only asking to learn, was it a red stripe from the get go? I thought I heard the only came black or white and no real way to tell which it rolled out with.

Thank you in advance.

If you are referring to the Julius restored Hemi C500, then absolutely yes.  I will post the build sheet tomorrow.
