(2) different vendors made up the vinyl top material. One manufacture made the center section, and another made the two outside pieces.

These were possible made in-house. Not sure why different brands were used.

It is my understanding that the Superbirds originally had 15" Anco blades from the factory.
There is some debate as which ones red dots or black dots were assembly line correct?
I have attached a couple of pictures of the Anco black dot wiper blades.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Mine has Anco 15B arms on it, no reason to believe they have been replaced.

So does mine. My car is a later built car, maybe that makes a difference?  WINGNUT

The following is taken from Dave Wise book page 3-8-32:  "The correct wiper blade arms for Superbirds and other cars of this era had a brushed finish.  There should be a "15B" stamped on them.  The word "Trico MADE IN USA" will appear on the factory blades, about 1 1/4" from the end.  Trico was the original supplier to Chrysler.  However, we have seen Anco blades on survivor Superbirds with red release buttons."

Pete,
Same question, do you have the red dots or the black dots?
Thanks! MJ

Is this a trick question? No buttons on my TRICO blades. WINGNUT

Pete,
No trick question here.
My mistake as birdsandbees said he had 15B ANCO arms and you stated you had the same.
So I was thinking blades not arms.
To be clear you have 15B ANCO arms and Trico blades?
Sorry for the confusion!

170163.. mine's the 500th car built.

Anco arms, trico blades. Superbird20.. read that "wise" article one more time. Brushed 15B arms (which are most likely Anco's) and Trico BLADES...

Chrysler had multiple vendors on many parts to make sure there wasn't a supply issue. I believe they got caught short sometime in the 50's by putting all their eggs in one basket. Tires, lamps, wiper arms, radiators, fasteners, mufflers - and I'm sure much more.

I have seen the odd TS - Tung-Sol head lights - with good date codes from Lynch Rd. But not on a Bird.
