Brand New Power Disc Brake Booster - Leaking air at the firewall in a 1968

Hi, I completed my rotisserie resto about a year ago. I have less than 200 miles on the car. Pretty much everything on the car was new, including the original style power booster and master cylinder for Disc/Drums. Now I am getting a vacuum leak at the firewall from the booster. It goes away when the pedal is slightly depressed. Is the booster fried already, or is the seal at the back replaceable? It still ads power to the brakes, it just has the leak with the pedal all the way out.

Thoughts?

You know how to adjust the nut/rod between the booster and master cylinder right?
