Has anybody stuck a set of  newer Challenger seats in  this era Charger ? What about the seat tracks for the right hight and space ? In rebuilding my 68 "parts car" Charger the tracks and seats were non existent . Thanks.

The new car seats are TALL.
If they don't hit the headliner we're good to go.

I can measure the ones in my 2015 R/T. I did the same thing when considering upgrades for my '70. I immediately dismissed the Challenger seats when I measured them. They are wide too. I was concerned that they might not allow me to use the stock console.

It's not that the new Chally seats are so tall, it's that the 1960s seats were so short.  Normal modern seats look way too tall inside the old cars.

Most do. I have 2006 Neon SRT 4 seats in mine. Non power and lighter than the stock 1970 seats while providing far more lateral support.
