Had a nice day yesterday so I decided to tinker with a few things on the car, I have not driven it in about 6 months and when i did it ran a bit hotter with the fi tech. A few of you guys mentioned it was probably a timing issue as I have the fi tech controlling timing.
Here are a few screens I pulled yesterday if anyone has input. The car runs great, just hotter than I like.

Thanks!

Thank you again CDR!
I was wondering about that, especially when I saw 5. It stumbles a bit at a light when I give it normal throttle, not sure if that is a timing thing or not.

Will do, if I do should I note what rpm range and dial that back?

:2thumbs: also make sure the timing matches using a timing light

I know base is 18, checked that last year with timing light.

Please keep us posted on the progress and any changes.  I'll be interested to read this and am following.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Will do, as soon as it stops thinking it's early March and warms up i'll give it a go.
Hopefully it corrects the running hot issue and the initial stumble.

What gears are you running?
I turn about 3000 at 70mph and my timing never went above 30ish lol
I can't wait to make that change and see what it does.

I made the changes, seems to run about the same which is good, maybe a bit better throttle response off the start, now as far as temp goes, i think it got to 180 and that was after long drive and then sitting in driveway, for the most part it was running in high 170's..now it was only 60 outside. I think i pretty much cruised around at 2k RPM for the most part.
I did record the 2nd half of my initial run and did not notice any thing different really.

Yes, this is a good point, and not only idle. At higher rpm as well.
