I have always wondered where do you put the knob on the jack when you want to lift the front wheel off the ground ?
Does it just go in the middle of the lower control arm close to the wheel ?

There's a hole in the lower front frame rail.

You stick your knob in the hole.

Think he is talking about the drain holes in the front frame rails

I asked the question and he answered it

This is one I got from ricksparts.com

No threads on the middle of the screw??   :shruggy:

I have a dozen jacks laying around that I picked up over the last 30 years
that are suitable to make into wing car jacks by slotting the bottom plate, adding the knob,
adding the cotter pin and tapering the end of the screw.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Couple of questions
1st I aways thought to front jack went in the hole on the front frame rail and
2nd what is the stud thickness and hight that is welded to the top plate.(any good close ups)
I have a couple of jack I want to modify. I need one for my bird.
