Because it was his car!    The folder the black and white "watermelon" pics were in said, "McCurry's Daytona".

Believe the other stories if you wish.     I SAW the folder.     (Man, this was back almost 30 years ago!   Where does the time go?)

GOOD FIND!!!   :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

WINGIN IT

I'm more interested in that cover pic with all the e-bodies. Is that is brainchild as well?

That Green go with Chartreuse stripe is awesome. I've only seen 1 other like it , but it had white top and interior.

Also didn't know Red Foreman worked for Chrysler- see him lurking in the background - probably calling someone a dumb ass !

Come on Mike, perfect opportunity for you to do what you always do-stir the pot.

Or you could just be decent and offer what you know, not just a tidbit to be clever, about what you know about the Watermelon car?

Correct. He denied knowing the car that had pics in a folder with his name on it.

Bet the Watermelon Daytona was behind the Challenger
when that cover pic was taken.

Someplace, there are the negatives of that entire photo
shoot.
