Cooling thermostat & Mechanical gauge- locations

Ok have a dual question and the first is:

1- is there another or any port on a 440 block that I can run a mechanical temp gauge?

2- who carries the old style clip wire for the temp gauge ( original spot @ water pump area) attached pic?

I can only find the one with threads on the top

I'm trying to use both mechanical gauge & temp stat

There is an extra port on the water pump housing in between the heater hoses that you can plumb into.

There is also this that will work as well.
