I spoke to Eugene Christmas eve, and he sent me some teaser pics before the reveal today. Glad it's out of bodyshop prison and back at Nicks for assembly.

The Dirty Mary Charger is nowhere near the colour of Eugenes car. Eugenes car is Y2 yellow. Under different types of lighting, Eugenes car seems to transform the colour. I cant wait to see the car in person out in the sun.

Thanks John.  Happy New Year to you and your family also.
I was in contact with him for a few years trying to buy the car.  He did say that he put it inside a building.  This would have been in the late 1980s.

oh right !  one the got away Eh  brickwall  wonder where it is now !  i use to save all the hemmings in the 80s  & early 90s  ( gave them all away now )  would have prolly seen that  Charger 500 in there back then , did not have any real interest in 69 Charger 500s back then ,  remember when i was looking for my charger in late 88  ( had to be an original Y2 black top interior  XS29L9  yesnod ) remember  in the august / september 1988 hemmings there was a F8  green  440 69 charger  500   real good for  5 grand bit more than i had to spend , but  being 17 years old was on a mission to find a Y2 69 R/T charger  maybe if it was a original Y2  C500 , i would have that now sitting in the garage  lol

I went to look at it in June 1985.  Was probably in the Hemmings just prior to that.  The asking price was $ 4,000.

I think the green is starting to fade and she is looking more Y2 lol...

Don't get the DRUM brakes with 600hp 'on tap'...

First thing us 21st Century folks do is a disc brake conversion, (just for safety)... icon_smile_blackeye

I've seen VIDS of Nick flying around the snow covered streets, 'UNABLE TO STOP'... slap slap slap
