Hi all,
i hope you can help me out a bit here.
I have a 65 Coronet wagon here and it has the original cable shifter in it.
The transmission is from a 1970 model year with a shifter mechanism.
Is there any conversion kit available to make this work?
Any help is much apreciated.

Thanks.

From their website...."Column and Console kits NOT  CURRENTLY AVAILABLE".

I believe A&A Transmission now handles the conversion kits.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

X2 on what John said above.  IIRC, 65 is a one year only transmission.  Last year for the cable, first year for the slip yoke.  Or something like that.  It makes big block 65 trans cores a bit harder to find, and slightly more expensive.

in theory, you could make your own cable. Its not rocket science, just patience to get the lever at the 70 trans right so the throw from the push button is correct.
