Vintage Nascar 426 Hemi exhaust systems used back then, specifially by 1970

Looking for pics or details of the exhaust systems used back then.
I'm aware of the funky looking 1964 and 65 Race hemi exhaust.



Where these actually used on live races or were they substituted for tube headers. even back then.
I'm fairly certain by 1970 they were steel tube headers exclusively

Here's a pic of the same type of headers that DC-93 (#88) used for the 200 mph run.
Made out of stainless steel.  Left one as found, right after a glass beading.

Wow, those headers are really pretty.  Much nicer than mine.    They look great in the bare stainless.

And I bought them from a guy that worked in the WWG, North.
Supposedly, came off the 1971 Petty Roadrunner WWG test car, late 1970.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?
