Hi, I recently bought my 1969 Charger and I was wondering if the dash screws should be black or stainless? I have the black dash not the wood grain. Also, I have a couple of scratches in the black of the dash and i was wondering what paint I should use to touch it up. Thank you.

Mine are black, but no idea if that's correct...

Thanks, mine are stainless and I think it looks a little odd.

meaning the screws that hold the bezel to the frame?

Thank you, I ended up finding some at RT Specialties. I ordered them yesterday and they look just like the picture you posted so that makes me feel confident I got the correct screws.

Do you know if they just sell that flat square nut thing and not the screws?

I bet they do. They seem to have every fastener ever made for these cars.

Do you know what they are called?

I think they are a speed fastener or a spring nut. I have boatloads of them for my airplane. I think you can even get them at the hardware store.

They're called Tinnerman Nuts or "clip nuts"....  I have 10's of thousands of them in various configurations..

The clips them selves can be found at pretty much any decent hardware and/or auto parts store
