Long story short - I need a new front disc brake kit for my 68 as the old Baer kit has been destroyed! Money not necessarily an option as someone else is paying...

PO did the conversion. I don't have access to the car atm. It was originally a 318 and I presume it was front drums but obviously need to know for sure to order the right kit. Any thoughts?

You need to verify what spindles it has in the off chance it was originally a disc brake car. Do you have a build sheet?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Managed to get down to it to check. Drum spindles.
Have ordered a Wilwood kit 👍

Dr Diff sell nice kits

They look good. Would've gone with that if I'd been paying!

Just guessing, But I bet only 20 percent or less came with Front Disc Brakes in 68.

WHITE AND RED 69

Just curious, how did the brakes get destroyed?

A caliper "fell off" and destroyed the wheel. The car was not in my possession at the time so details are sketchy!
