Hello,

A while ago, some folks on here had asked me to give updates on when I was going to be restored my Superbird. Since that time I have decided to have GYC do the restoration. They just released a video on Facebook.

What is their waiting period these days out of curiosity? How long till it's finished? It's hard to tell by viewing the TV show.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

4 years !!?? Lordy........ It would be cool for Mark to do that car, but I could die before that... I hope you are getting a good deal on the car and it'll be used as a show-project... Or, was that part of the selling agreement, they do the car?

I can't say for sure how long it would take, cause the car was already in the queue for a full restoration when I bought it. As you know it takes a long time to do these cars right. :coolgleamA:

Well at least now there better sources of sheet metal like AMD.Back then you had auto body specialties sherman quarter skins. Not exactly sure but think this bird had some old school repairs with brazing done on it. Nosecones is nos my friend sold the original one I missed getting it.resto of the car is low miles original from here in  NJ.My friend Ed had it and hemi 4 speed 68 charger. And contacted me when he was interested in getting them done or restored.I got him in touch with  Marc at graveyard .Shortly after bought cars were bought

There are known body shops who loose or improperly store hard to replace wingcar parts.Or sell them.As long as that don't occur See what the finished product looks like white cars are very forgiven on the bodywork..As to black shows every flaw
