Thought I'd post a link in the aero section, since this pertains to the NACA Daytona hood scoop, seen in the early brochure but not production.  Twocents

Is there a lip on the wide, backside edge of the naca scoop, or is it flat?

Correct.  Is the scoop flat with the hood or partially raised to induce more air?
