Right front of cone looks off.

Anyone else notice?
Definitely a fitting issue.  Larger gap at the top vs the bottom

Needs Polyglas GT tires badly
I can't look at Firestone RWL tires on Mopars

Hi Carsten,                   22 November 2020

Have to agree with you. If my memory is still functioning, Goodyear Chrysler, Firestone Ford, US Royal (Now Uniroyal) GM. Not cast in concrete but the majority of what I saw in the 50's. The last three cars I have bought were Ford/Goodyear.

If I was buying a new car it would either be a Mopar or Ford and I would require Goodyear tires.

Back in 2005 I was a cop; Had my own car, put Pirelli on her. They really gave the car a Big Bad Assed Look. Supposedly rated for 160+ mph. Was occasionally up to 140 in a chase. Thought I was safe.

All of a sudden I'm having to air the tires almost everyday. Went back to NTB where I bought them. Long story short, they were leaking through the tread, tiny pin holes everywhere. Had them pull the tires off the rims. They were coming apart internally, all four of them. No warranty. They cost me over $2K for the set. Think I had about 3K miles on them. Went back to Goodyear's and stopped the chasing. After I got to thinking about the chasing, I came to the conclusion the person I was chasing was a jerk and so was I. The only thing good about it was the Adrenalin Rush.

Best Always,

Christine
