DownZero

That's some really sloppy under dash wiring going on. For that price I would expect a lot cleaner job.

One quick respray, even the brake lines and flex lines are blue..

I cringe at the battery disconnect and other electrical short comings.
Whoever purchases this car needs to immediately address those items before it catches fire.

I enjoyed reading your posts,  A short note about the car.  I am the 2nd owner and it had 90,000 miles on it when I found it.  It was missing the engine and trans and was in pretty rough shape.  The original owner had 3 Superbirds, but this is the one he drove.  So with it now a high mileage ride I continued what he had started.  I am glad to say I have added another 90,000 miles over the last 38 years and am sure it is probably the highest mileage hemi Superbird on the planet.  From 2008 to 2010 with the help of some of my MOPAR friends and the blessings from my wife we did a DRIVERS resto on the car.  It looks good and drives even better than I thought it would.  It is NOT A TRAILER QUEEN.  It has been trailered to only one show in all the time I have owned it.  That was in 2017 to the Fall Fling in LA.  I popped in for the show and had a great time.  Before that it was driven from Seattle to the Spring Fling 7 times, to Mopars at the Strip in Vegas twice, many many shows in the Northwest, but my all time favorite was in 1999 when it went to the 35th Aero Car Reunion in Talladega where it was the only hemi 4 speed Superbird in attendance that year.  For years I have heard all the comments about driving the car.  Well I am the LUCKY guy and have had more fun, seen more places and met more friends because of driving the car.  I enjoy talking MOPAR and if anyone wants to ask questions about the car, email me at superbirdbob@gmail.com.   Thanks SBBob

Looks like it had 2 rear 1/4 panels & trunk floor replaced? Good you get to drive & enjoy :2thumbs:. LEON.

wingcarenvy

Great car with great history. I have seen you at the flings. Love it. Good luck with the sale. I'm always sad to see a long term owner part with their bird but I know life changes and priorities change over the years.

SBBob

TY, just want it to be enjoyed as much in the future as in the past.

Is this the one that I've seen sitting in Ray's driveway a few times over the years?
I have a picture of it there if it is  :yesnod:

Cool, saw the Washington plate and figured it was the one.
I've known Ray for at least 25 years if not longer, I'm just right down the hill from him.

RallyeMike

I think your Bird is the first one I ever saw on the road - rolling through the golden hills of Palouse on a clear blue sunny day... 198_ something. It was like I was in a dream

Sorry to see it go Bob. You with it are a NW icon. Thanks for driving the wheels off of it so we could all enjoy it.  :2thumbs:

Awesome car ,and in my favorite color combo  :2thumbs:
I like the look of the console 4 speed better, but beggars can't be choosers, lol.

Wish I had that much disposable income , and was 20 years younger , I'd drive the hell out of it !

RiverRaider

An interesting location for the "orange box" I have not seen one located in front of the washer bottle before.
My first Charger was a Stock Car.

SBBob

That was the place the original owner had located it earlier, so I just went with it there also.

Just curious on the story behind the pic of the purple Challenger taped to the DS inner fender.

SBBob

My roofers 440 six pack car and I used it as a shield for the neg ground wire.  He thought is was funny.
