Has anyone ever used a 20 foot V nose enclosed car trailer to tow a Superbird

Bill,
When I decided to go from a 3500 one ton Dodge to a 1500 series Dodge pickup I did a lot of trailer research.
My trailer at the time was a 24 foot flat nose steel trailer.
I ended up buying an all aluminum Stealth 22 foot V nose trailer.
It tows great behind my 1500 and both my Superbird and Daytona fit well.
I do have to clamp the flap on the beaver tail door so that it doesn't hit the wings on bumpy roads.
I think you could get a Superbird in a 20 foot trailer but it would be really tight with NO room for error.
It was too tight for me and I went with the 22 foot trailer.
The bad part is if you are looking at new trailers they won't let you drive your car inside to see how it fits!
They don't want tire marks on the new wood.
Hope this helps?

IMO, a 20 footer would be awfully tight to get in and strap it down

IMO a minimum of a 22' or preferably a 24' would be ideal

Maybe with a left side access hatch to get the front drivers wheel straps around the tire... otherwise you must be limber than I am...

Bill, a 20' is going to be too close for comfort.   I have rented a 20' and a 24' before and I won't put my Bird in the 20'.   The 24' is a perfect size for me as you have extra room.   The other thing to think of, cars will move in a trailer.  Even if you have it tight down really good, in a few cases for me, the car has moved.

Mopar John.  What kind of money we talking on that trailer? Looks really nice. Is it easy to tow with a half ton?

DownZero,
We purchased that all aluminum 22ft V nose Stealth trailer in October of 2014.
At that time it was listed at $7950.00.
With 5200# torsion style axles ( no spring problems to deal with ),
white vinyl ceiling, 54" drivers side escape door and 3 way light package
brought the total to $9315.00 plus Indiana tax.
The 24ft all steel trailer weighed 3750LBS and this trailer weighs 2525LBS!
Our 2013 and now 2019 1500 Ram pickups tow it very well.
We have a forum member here that has a trailer dealership.
I don't know if he has an all aluminum line?
His user name is: 69hemidaytona

Thanks for the info. If your wing cars fit then I should have no problem with my 69 charger. May have to upgrade my current truck. It's a half ton but it has a small v8.

Thanks for all the help. I am buying a 24 feet black trailer from 69hemidaytona  :2thumbs:
