What stripes do you guys prefer? Longitudinal or Bumblebee stripe? I'm thinking about changing my stripe but don't know which one. My car came original with V6X ( Black Longitudinal) but what if it would be too much Yellow.

That car looks great as it is.
I never liked the pinstripe stuff. The Bumblebee stripe has always been my favorite.

My R/T has a tail stripe but was built with the pinstripe.

I like the longitudinal stripe on the '70 and I think your car would look killer with the hood blackout and the side stripes  :Twocents: :2thumbs:

People but Bee stripes on everything (me included BTW). It's fine for a normal cars but since yours has the door thingys...Longitudinal REALLY look nice. That's the way I'd go if I had an '70 R/T

For me it depends on the cars color.
the light color cars I like the longitudinal stripes and dark colors I like the bumblebee stripe

Just to throw a little gas on the fire, here is the hated quarter panel badge and butt stripe combo.

 :scratchchin:

for the 1970 charger R/T think the V68 should be the only stripe , IMO  think the styling features of the 70 with loop front bumper , door scoops , even the side marker light design , looks better with the twin double stripe picking out the body lines !  just looks right  :yesnod:  same way I think rallye wheels , high impact paint  don't look as good on a 69 as they do on a 70  :shruggy:
or it might be when I was a kid  the first ever two  70 charger R/Ts I saw had longitudinals   :shruggy:

will look awesome what ever stripe
good luck with what ever you decide

Yours looks good because the black vinyl top breaks up the Yellow. I'm just worried if it's going to be too much yellow. Mine did come original with longitudinal stripe.

Wonder what the long side stripe would look like if it was about 3 times as wide so it did not just look like a pin stripe ?

I like them both. Usually depends on color combo. My red R/T S.E. is original B3 blue with a dark blue longitudinal stripe.

I have never been a fan of longitudinal stripes. To the point, if I bought a car with them I'd remove them. I find they detract from the body lines, rather than accentuate them. JMHO  :Twocents:

I do like the tail stripe however, it screams Charger to me....

I like thee bumblebee stripe much better.

I'm surprised Dodge didn't offer a stripe similar to the 70 Super Bee

TexasStroker

I think I prefer yours as you currently have it.  That said, easy on and easy off so you can play around with it.  Would eventually get expensive though, lol.
