Yet more proof that an engine with headers makes more power than with the Magnum manifolds. There are always those fossils that chime in that Headers don't mak any more power than their iron lumps.

I would like to see Non HP vs HP differences.

Also would like to check differences on a 440 Magnum or even some low deck big block everyone on stock specs. We don't know what that engine got inside.

I understand the reason to get headers but, no way I will install headers on my car even I know they are an easy guaranteed power gain. But a headache for install, driving and service on a driver car. And sometimes an easy leak source.

My red car has always gad headers since I swapped to a 440 in 2001. I've had 3 different sets. Hooker 5903, 5209 and these TTI 2" pipes. All sealed well as long as the bolts were tight.
The first set were put in another car when I decided to step up to a larger size. The 5209s didn't fit all that well so I bought the TTI headers. They have been in place since 2006 and are still in great shape.

Yeah, I guess the leak issue changes with brands quality and installation procedures, but still i have seen many ppl with headers with that headache. Not just Mopars but all cars.

But the worst of all, all headers my "friends" in Venezuela got are dented and scratched by the speed bumps on streets LOL. IF I was to install headers someday in the future would go with shorties. I guess that would be a better option also for starter motor service... another problem related to headers.

The next headache, spark plug wires...

Note, I'm thinking from the daily driver user point of view like I was with my Charger, not a garage kept car just for shows or races.

In my case where usually there is no diff between B or RB blocks on the Headers offer, I guess being a B block user everthing of this makes the headers worst... getting a lower stance and tighter clearence against the block... just by a tad, but enough to add problems.
