Hi
1968 Dodge Charger Hood Blinkers.
Are these Lights Available?
I thought about cleaning them up and sealing the plastic parts with a clear sealer.
Opinions?

Thank You,
John

yes they are, but nothing like an original one, even restored. The bad on your piece is the faded lense

good new... lense is available by itself. No need for the rest ( hoping will fit without problem on the OEM assembly )

Check with Charger Specialties. They used to sell all the parts individually or as a whole unit...

Thanks guys.
I guess the only purpose they serve is to tell the driver that he really did put the turn signal on.
Now I know where I can get them.

Do the repros fit in place & work like the originals?  Or do they have functional problems too?

Thought I have seen a thread where someone ordered a reproduction set and they did not fit the car very well
Not sure what set they were
Might be hard to find a reproduction lens that fits a factory set up

I think my first approach is to clean, seal, and test.  I have to make sure they have good grounds.
Thanks
John

For the drivers on the sides.

The purpose of the lights is to prevent you from leaving the turn signal on for 5 miles and looking like a dork.

The dashboard signal lights are pretty small.

It can be hard to hear the clicking noise if you have a loud motor.

john108

That sounds very logical.
Thanks
