Just got back from the track with my 68

Had some transmission shifting problems but still pulled off my first pass in the 12's !!!!!  So pumped. knowing my shifting was all over the place there is no doubt the car has even more in it still. Looking for 12.7 now !!!

60 ft. - 1.82
1/8- 7.71
1/8 MPH - 83.45
1/4 - 12.95 @ 99.30 MPH

The mph is way off because my transmission was acting up I had to let off just before the line .  I am am hoping its just a simple linkage adjustment . Only made 2 runs and pulled the plug until get the transmission issue fixed .  SO happy with how the car performs for a super simple build!

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Transmission was a quick 5 min fix.

Adjusted the lower rod. Good to go !

Nice. Your mph would be 106-107 in that run.

The season is over, here in Ontario .  So will have to wait till next year.

Really looking forward to it.  I have still yet to even try foot break the car. All runs this far are off idle.

The run before my 12.9 was a 13.00 , and I trapped 85 mph in the 1/8 some how.  A 1.5 mph gain over my average runs, need to put that together with a full run.

I went to the last even of the year at the local track , which was " Mopar day "  seen a couple cars with 106 mph traps and hitting 12.5. I guess that my new goal !!!
