Q5 Daytona vs Dauntless "Daytona"

A few weeks ago I was asked to bring out some of my Mopars to the annual Moparama show, and they wanted to position my Daytona opposite Joe Zolper's (of TV's "Garage Squad") Dauntless "Daytona", which was kinda cool. I will admit, I've still never seen the show (I don't watch much TV), but I talked with Joe quite a bit and found him to be a nice fellow, and certainly a real knowledgeable car guy. He fired up his 2500 hp Daytona-esque racecar, and it sounded pretty bad ass, but I have to say, I think when I fired up my 426 SuperStock Race hemi (on the engine run stand), it sounded even better! Some of these cars I haven't had out for a while, so it felt really good to get back into a Mopar groove.

Thanks Ernie. We bought the GTX (a real 4 speed TrakPak car) with a 440 several years ago and beefed it up a bit and had Tim Banning put together a nice custom 572 Hemi for it. 813 hp on pump gas with a cross ram intake. I posted about it here:

Well it's not much debate. The Q5 car trumps any of the others easily. Especially the Dauntless car. Don't get me wrong the work he has in it is nice but
No where near as good as factory work from 50+ years ago. Not to my eyes.
