Trans help needed

Hey guys , I have a 1994 GMC Yukon 2dr 4x4. It has an 4L60E trans , M30 option. I have found so much different sh$t on these that now if it isn't exactually like mine I won't buy it. Gotta go with a used one ($$). Mine has M30 in raised letters on the drivers side bell housing. Most I see for sale have a 'K'. What would you do ?? Confused more now than when I was starting out. No help from truck forum I am on yet. Thanks

back in the day when i was swapping in a 700r4 to my 78 gmc, i remember seeing that the 93-94 early ones are the same, 95 was a 1 off(last-ish year before dash change and airbags), and 96-98 were the same. the caveat is i don't remember if it was because of swapping internals, or if you can swap the entire trans out and it'll plug in just fine...
