I can't find any recent/current reviews of Indy Crate Hemis. Most reviews are from years ago. Has anyone bought in the last year or two? Or know someone that has.
Looking for basically a stock 426 Hemi build. Maybe a couple of extra horses!
Thoughts/comments.
thanks

if you dont have a hemi flywheel or flex plate [ 8 bolt] crank, get a 6 bolt crank for the build

Thanks CDR for the replies, I've got the flywheel, bell housing, the numbers matching 4 spd and dana. Going day 2 with this one, rims and headers. Was thinking about the 472, looks like it will fit under the hood. Thanks again!

I can attest to the phenomenal engines Tim (FHO) builds, too. Two of my cars are running his stroker Hemis (a 572 and a 604).  Buuuuttt,  not going get into one of his as cheaply, I suspect. But as they say, quality is remembered long after the cost is forgotten!

Thanks Ryan and Q5XX29 for the replies. Spoke to a shop on Friday that had dealt with a few customer cars that had a FHO hemis and nothing but good things to say. Q5XX29, very true. Its better to spend the money once than have to do it a second time. I'll give Tim a call this week and get more details, time lines and a cost before I decide. A few vintage complete motors are popping up too!
