Here's a pic I just stole of Hodges facebook page of Jim in the '80's.

Shown with the plates off  of his other Bird,,,,, he owns ( still owns )

Aero426

Always a special car.    When FL Crowder still owned it,  he had it advertised at an eye popping price of $5000 in 1975.  Mr. Crowder was one of the first people to write in when we started the club.   It had just over 10,000 miles at the time.    Eugene Wood bought it in the late 70's and he may have put the day 2 tires on it.    Eugene was in a wheelchair and brought the car to a DSAC meet in Milwaukee in 1980.   He had a Cadillac hearse to pull the car on an open trailer.  One of the first trailered Superbirds I remember.

BUT, I dont think Crowder is the dealer on the original shipping paperwork. That car was a dealer trade  and/or sold from one dealer to another very very early on.

Best I remember Woods bought the car from Crowder after said dealer trade in or about 1977  And never titled it. Was still on MSO when Jim got it,,,,and sold it to Harrold Sullivan

Nothing better than a petty blue wing car!   :yesnod:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I now have all the paperwork from this car including the original window sticker and 3 build sheets. Some interesting options:
G31 right outside mirror
J41 Pedal dress up
M05 door edge protectors
S83 rim blow steering wheel
Y39 special order-we know what that means!!

Traced as much prior ownership as I could tonight. Interesting-John Arruzza owned it for 2 years, and the only holes are when was it sold to and from Tim Wellborn. I have approximated dates for that, but working on exactness.
