69 Charger rear R/T emblem question

I'm seeing some with a black /  between RT.  The ones that are chrome between RT have a textured finished rather than directional/brushed like the stripe delete quarter panel emblems.

Is it just supposed to have the chrome slash?   Thank you.

Originals are all as far I know, chromed. Maybe later repros MP are black ?

I have sold 3 NOS 71 R/T emblems long time ago and all were Chromed slash

mines an original V88 stripe delete car with is original  R/T emblems , i'm pretty sure mine are what Nacho-RT74 said  :yesnod: finned chrome slash 

although i cant remember  :lol: :icon_smile_blackeye: ,  FWIW will go & look later  :yesnod:
