Anyone have any photos of those old Motion EI ignitions systems from the 60's?

Hi CFMopar,                  14 March 2022

If you are referring to the transistor ignition Chrysler/Mopar racing was selling in the late 60's, We had one we bought in 1968. It didn't work very well. It used tiny points which went south quite quickly. We gave it to Bob Jennings as a curio of the early Mopar attempts at high tech ignition systems. Maybe some folks had better luck than we did. As far as we're concerned, it was unreliable. The idea was good, the execution left a lot to be desired.

Bob (taxspeaker) has a thread in the AERO section. You might want to contact him to see if he can post a photo or two of the unit . . . . if it is what you are looking for. We still have a couple sets of the points it used.
