2022 DSAC/Winged Warriors National Meet – Milwaukee Wisconsin, August 24-28th
We will be in the suburbs west of Milwaukee.  The host hotel is the Country Inn and Suites, 1250 S Moorland Rd, Brookfield WI 53005  Room rate is $109 per night.    Call 262-782-1400 for reservations.    The room block is live right now under the name "aero warriors".

Here are some planned activities.  We may add some other fun things as we get closer.
Visit Old World Wisconsin which is a 500 acre open air museum west of Milwaukee.    They have moved different historic buildings from all over the state depicting the daily life of 19th century area settlers.  Each section of the park has different ethnic areas with live demonstrations and guides to talk about the buildings and who lived there.    This is a morning and into the afternoon event.  Cost is about $20 per person, less for kids and seniors.

Visit Lake Geneva: the star attraction is the boat cruise which showcases  the many fabulous and historic homes built in the 1800's and some new ones too.   Lots of Chicago money settled here for summers.   "A nice ride down there, about 40 minutes.    The tour to take is the one hour which runs throughout the day and runs along the shore showing the best mansions.   Tour guides are always very good.    Cost is in the $35 range.    There are also many places to eat and shop nearby.

Harley Davidson Museum - near downtown Milwaukee, easy to get to.

Wisconsin Auto Museum in Hartford.     Nice facility north of town,   Lunch at the Mine Shaft across the street which is a popular restaurant in the area.   Kettle Moraine scenic driving tour on this trip to complete the afternoon.

Cruise Nights.    We have one good one on Wednesday night a different one on Saturday night at Gus' Drive in, a traditional car hop style joint.

Whirly Ball.   Located close to the hotel.   We did this in Cleveland in 2010 and it was a really fun time.  We have a new facility in our town.   Two teams of people compete riding in bumper cars on a basketball court and shoot a whiffle ball at the backboard with a hand held scoop.

Sunday – The annual club picnic.  There also is an ARCA race that day at the historic Milwaukee Mile.   Details to follow.

I realize fuel is expensive this year.   But we are committed to putting on an event.  Please email or call me, Doug Schellinger if you are interested in attending so we can plan for headcount and get you ticket information on various activities:  414-687-2489
