Finishing a project started by another - 1972 Charger originally had a 400 without ECM but with 2 field wire alternator.
New parts include a 4 terminal ECM - I am looking for a schematic  of the ignition and charging circuits for 4 terminal ECM, and 2 field terminals alternator. It should include the voltage regulator (assuming the ECM does not provide the voltage regulation internally) :shruggy:

Ignition ON is a blue wire, ignition START is a brown wire.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I am also wondering what the ohmage is of the ballast  resistor? The original is a double with one at .5 ohms, the other at 5 ohms.

An option per the American Wiring guy is to use a single wire alternator (with internal  voltage regulation) with the coil fed through a 1.2 ohm ballast resister.
