I have a 99 Tecumseh hm100 (10hp). I have no idea what it out of (close numbers are for a generator) and and would like to put it in a 70's Tri Rod with a battery (electric start) and some lights. My problem is , it only has one wire (ac). Every thing I have found shows I need 2 wires to convert to dc. If I understand correctly , I can use the ac for the lights but I need dc to charge the battery. I measured the flywheel hoping to match that at least but , no measurements are given. I contacted a couple parts place about a stator and they need a number. Any ideas ?
