The scissors jack and handle are a joke. WINGNUT

Typical "repro" jacksold by Rick's Parts/Mopartsllc, just a converted $50 jack from O'Riely's or like parts stores... great for a clone, but not  acceptable for a seller asking/looking for $300K+

Hi DAY CLONA, Wingnut426,               24 September 2022

We had one similar to the one in the photo, folding handle and all. Don't remember where we got it but did throw it out. Our Daytona that Bob bought had it's original jacks.

I can't get past the 68 valve cover and the heater hoses banded together. The wiper transmission looks to be painted black? Easy enough fixes but it's going to be a big dollar sale!

Maybe you should buy it and correct all those things that are not perfect.

Hi FJ5WING ,                  02 October 2022

Think Tuco hit the nail on the head. Maybe you should follow his suggestion and show us how it should be done.

To be fair, he has already shown us how it should be done with the Superbird he owned

Hi Ernie,              02 October 2022

Thanks for the comeuppance, I appreciate it since I had it coming.

Your Daytona is looking really great. When do you think it will be completed? Hope it's done before we head to Ohio in September 2023 for my HS reunion. We would like to stop by on our way home to visit with you and see your Daytona. Also give us a chance to see Bob and his collection. We have a favorite in it.

Hi Folks,                  03 October 2022

Noticed the broken steering wheel. Think this is a flaw in the wood grain steering wheels. This isn't the first we have seen. Looks like material shrinkage.

In photo 5981, the "K" frame looks fairly well hammered. Rough roads in its earlier life?

Sitting here watching a Dust Storm pass through the area. Will guess 40 mph sustained winds with gusting 55 - 60+. Good time to be inside and not on the road.
