When I own the car I thought about getting graphics to emulate the Duane's Auto parts lettering. I actually have two storyboards made up for that car that I offered to the buyer but he never answered me. Who is Patti Lindsley? Is she related to the guy sold the car to who was named Vince lindsley?

She is the granddaughter of the original owner/driver of the Superbird Jim Lindsley when it was used exclusively as a SCTA Bonneville Salt Flat race car (also El Mirage in California).. her father Larry was the primary driver if I recall during the cars racing career (new 1970 to around 1988). She herself took the car to 213.## mph

Okay then the names being the same is just a coincidence it would appear. Did you say that Dana Mecum now owns my old Hemi Daytona?

It is my understanding that he owns the 3 hemi Aeros in his preview auction display, looking to turn the cars.

If you want to see everything at the show, you can see at least one picture of every car in my pictures.

That's quite interesting. After looking at it more closely the last name of the man who bought the car from me was Lindley not Lindsley. It seems his whole collection is up for sale. Maybe he already sold the collection to Dana Mecum and now Dana is selling them at his auction.

Whether Mecum owns them or not, this offers insight into how easily they can play games with the bidding.

The T5 car will hammer for more but in my opinion the orange one is a much nicer car

Tony,
My take on this is that MECUM had those 3 AERO cars which includes your former car on display
showcasing the upcoming auction at KISSIMME.
The consignors must have given him possession of the cars for promotional purposes.
Why buy the cars when your going to make a commission coming and going?
