Trunk weatherstrip correct?

Trunk weatherstrip looks like its installed incorrectly? Can anyone verify?

It is facing the right way but yeah, it is upside down. Where your forefinger is, the rubber is flat.
To me, it seems immediately obvious that the flat part should be what gets glued to the body.
I hope that you stumbled on this and were not the one that put the weatherstrip in that way.
On another note....It sure seems that Chrysler went with the LOW bidder for trunk weatherstrips. I have owned maybe 75 cars, trucks and RVs in my life and dang near every Mopar had water intrusion into the trunk. Almost all of the cars had good weatherstrips around the doors and windows but the trunk rubber was junk.
