If I'm not mistaken that car is origionally a V2 orange car, that sold new out of Ohio, and was sold on Ebay about 2 years ago from a gentleman in Arizona. As far as i can trace it, it remained in the southwest of the country. I do believe that the car was used at a small race track in Ohio as the pace car for years as well.

It was supposed to have been a pace car .And it had a unusual daytona vin like 376 or 379 .But was a real daytona that sold from Sam Brown dodge and was located on the daytona shipping list

Unless it's been sold, that car is down here in the Houston area.... I saw it outside the bodyshop the owner has for "advertising" !!!!  I was on my way to my Mom's house and low-and-behold, I see this silver Daytona sitting in the parking lot !!!!!   Believe me, I was stunned to see a Daytona out of the blue........

That car was for sale on ebay about 3 years ago and I had bid on it, but wasn't willing to go over $50K at that time. Man I wish I had upped my bid by about $4,000.
