My new seal has metal embedded around the edge and a small ridge up from the perimeter. Should the ridge point up or down?  shruggy

i went down, so it adds a bit of extra seal to the floor when it compresses. plus looks better

Yup fill tube off and wrong vent tube bending, stainless tank not crimped for straps properly and supposedly adjusted fuel gauge sender shows 1/4 tank full with 13 gallons added.  lol
