That nosecone is definitely an original.  A little rough, but original.  Wing braces look right, but it's hard to say.  Not many pictures of the wing or scissors jack.  IMHO, that car is worth more because of its Daytona parts than as a clone.

Hmmmm, intersting ride. Might be worth bidding on to just pick up a nose cone and the scissor jack. Everyone needs a spare nose cone laying around don't they?

If you are looking to build a clone, it doesn't look like a bad place to start. Good luck to whoever gets it!  :2thumbs: I know I wouldn't mind having it in my driveway!  :icon_smile_big:

Rebody and big B-J profit (where of course it will appear as an original, numbers matching, low mileage once in a lifetime opportunity for some aging boomer).

Seems like there should be more ways to stop this kind of stuff.

When the VIN has been put out in public already on an Ebay ad, and the original car's entire body was BLATANTLY totalled, and there's proof that the "restorer" bought a clone project around the same time period . . . even an uninformed buyer would probably raise an eyebrow after seeing the pics of the burned car body and hearing these couple of facts laid out.
