G'day.

Is the tail panel trim all the same for 68-70 Chargers? Eg. Would tailpanel trim off a 68 charger fit a 69 charger?

Cheers

What trim are you talking about?  The trim that is the center stainless steel piece and the two right angle "eyebrows" that are chromed pot metal?

No, 68 trim will not work.    Maybe the long stuff in the middle, but not the end pieces (c shaped stuff) or the pieces that go between the two tailights (the little two inch pieces).

The stainless trim that runs along the trunk lid edge will interchange. I would say no on anything else.

If you're doing a 1969 car, then you need these things:

--  The taillight panel trim piece underneath the trunklid.  One stainless piece, about 5 feet long.  Must be found used.  (Same all three years, although not all 1970 Chargers were built with it.)

--  The chromed "corner pieces" that fit just underneath the body-colored corner caps.  Find it used or buy new reproductions.  (Same on both 1969 and 1970 cars, but 1968s were different.)

--  The taillight lense trim.  This stuff was not actually supposed to be removed from the lenses, but some car owners have done it.  Must be found used.  (Same on 1969 and 1970, although the actual red lenses were slightly different.)
