deleting your own threads

why not have option to delete your own threads? For example Ive got question and I posted it but I found answer in a short big of a time. I probably dont need another post with same question.

Because deleting your own threads also allows you to delete all of the posts in the threads (which would belong to other members). This also keeps people from abusing the system by deleting posts that may not agree with them or from members they may not get along with. If you have a Charger question then the answers would be valuable to others so deleting them would only harm the community. As a general rule, no threads are deleted except Classified ads.
