Rare 1969 Dodge DAYTONA found in Southern Junkyard. WOW.

You are correct there Charger Punk, my last few post were about the C500.

However the Daytona is definately a good conversation piece. I wasn't aware that the numbers from that car are now on another car though. I had always heard that the car's numbers were in a safe place so that no one could put them on another car.

The vin tag never was put on another car -    I got it along with the trunk lid and trunk hinges    I gave it to a BIG time mopar collecter for a conversation piece ,so Im sure its very safe and sound - this was back in 1987 or 88   !!!!!

The vin on this junkyard car is known Same goes for the TX daytona carcass that was on ebay .If these cars happen to resurface in pristine condition in the future.With no previous disclosed history available.There are stories and proof to back up. What either of those car once was

I seen a post about this car before I bought my Daytona. I called Ted about the car and he had no interest in selling it

I don't know if  Ted still has the car, but it no longer sits by the highway anymore. Been gone a year or two.

nother lot of awesome pictures Ryan  ,    great stuff ,   is there a vin number / fender tag on the Daytona ?

   can only see small pictures of the Daytona  in a grid / gallery type display    when I click on them , to enlarge nothing happens , not sure if its my computer
