WELCOME John!

I had a call on the rear window trim from a Daytona Aficionado.  This guy knows Cotton Owens, and talks to him!  I'm sure he would bring alot of INFO to our page!

He told me some storys about Cotton Owens that were VERY INTERSTING.  He also builds HEMIs (for people who want one).  He lives in NC (anyone know a John in NC)?

He didn't know about the site here, or the '69 Charger Registry, so Chris maybe you'll add another XX to the pot!!!

I hope he finds us here, and shares his wealth of info!!!

Daytona R/T SE

Just a wild guess....Does his last name begin with the letter "A"? ;)

His eBay screename is:  arruzzahp  , so I'd guess YES :)    Do you know if he's registered at the '69 Registry?

Troy

I sure wish he'd hang out here - I need help with an engine... ;)

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Wasn't John's Black Daytona the one that was for sale on Ebay about 8 months ago or so?

I hope he does join the site, he would be a wealth of knowledge in the engine department. You didn't ask him about the Ball Stud HEMI?

One of these days I'd love to sit down and interview Cotton Owens on video as well. Those stories would be incredible.

Only black Hemi Daytona I have in the registry was at the '06 Carlisle show.....was that his?

I would venture to say no. The one he had was a 440 car with a transplanted HEMI in it. I know of 2 black HEMI Daytona's. One being the one that was at Carlisle, used to be in the South, and the other is in England which used to be Jim Radke's in California.
