I had found another use this particular part on a 69 daytona nose build up.Insteed of what its suppose to be used for support the screen door cylinder. It does look like a little down sized wing upright though :icon_smile_big:.It fits flush and hollow in the middle for the actuator shaft to travel.I had found on fiberglass headlight pivot bracket to actuator connection. Is a problem waiting to happen.I had used this before on a clone daytona.Where the fiberglass bracket on fiberglass headlight headlight pivot failed. .And got it in there without tearing down or removing a nose on a finished car.By removing the 2 headlights shortening the bracket and drilling a hole for acuator connection point .And I used that part again on a real daytona.Where I get ridiculed for doing so .When I worked and drove my cars .There was no message board or part suppliers as compared to any wing car part today being repoed. And when I bought these cars in states 1500- miles and up away .And in general when I have had whatever problem.I used what I had available. To make the fix and get going again.I guess that makes me old school .I did have these nos parts to make paper templates for nose cone assembling. When I needed to make them
