As far I know, only 73/74 aside of the arrow. and they are the stick on kind, not pins kind

If I'm right 71/72s have it on Roof ( C pillars ). Maybe pins kind similar to 2nd gens.

Well, on the '72 S.E. cars, the had the S.E. stuff on the C pillers. I thought there are a few members here that have '72s with those on the doors ???

I have seen then on a regulars 72s ( not sure if all 72s have them )

CB bought a regular 72 with full options which had the Charger and arrow emblems there.

Anyway, doors ones are the stick on kind

71 R/Ts on fenders with R/T emblem

HEY LOOK AT THE EMBLEM ON FENDER, NOT WHAT IS IN FRONT OF DOOR... behind what is in front of door I bet you won't find the Charger emblem, IN FACT you will search another "thing" on that area :P

My car doesn't have these, and I don't know if they were removed or if it just didn't come with them.

I've owned five 72 Chargers over the years, one of them was an SE. None of them had that emblem on the doors, it's a 73/74 thing.

OK, stupid me... I looked at the picture again, it was on the fenders. Now I will ask again, is my car supposed to have these on the front fenders? I ask because I don't remember seeing it on all '72s.

I shoud really get more sleep nights then I wouldn't ask the wrong question :P :rotz:

from the pics of your car, I would just keep them on your sail panels. on the chargers I have , they only have the pentastar on the fenders.

Nacho-RT74

He already has the SE emblems on Sail panels and is a LOOOOONG EMBLEM with alll the SPECIAL EDITION ( not just SE initials ) words at a side of the Dodge tristar, so if he don't have enough room to put it there.

Pete, check with detail on yor fenders, because if your car should have them then you will find some kind of mark...

I have NOS R/T emblems to fenders and THEY ARE stick on kind, not pins. I think pins ones were destined to roofs, since vinyl   tops weren't able to catch the stick on kind.

Checking on http://www.lightningjar.com/cars/%20mopar/decoders/partnumbers/searchpartnumbers.php they say to 71 Fenders and 73/74 doors...

PINS ? or is that was used same cast to both kind just cutting the pins and adding the double sided tape to stick on ?

Once I sold to Nicksgarages three NOS R/T emblems, one of them pins kind. I removed the double side tape of the ones that my car had and found the part number, if my memory doesn't fail, was the same part number on both.

Charger72SE

the 72 Sales Brochure & Facts Manual show Charger emblems on the upper quarter panels near the door (where you have it circled) for the Special Edition models.  I don't see the emblems there for the Rallye, Coupe or Hardtop.  ALL of the models have the Charger emblem on the C pillar.

The door emblems are mounted with adhesive and the C pillar emplems are mounted with pins

hope that helps

Thanks Paul, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I was thinking about bidding on them, but now I know there not the ones I need.

Do you mean fender right ?

At least I wasn't wrong about the pins ones were only to C pillars and rest were sitck on kind :)

Pete, you coul use them cutting the pins and attaching double sided tape... I think they are really the same. I don't think Chrysler used different cast for both kinds, specially for same size emblems, just did cut the pins and attach the tape changing the part number on package. If you remove the tape from the back of any old emblem, you will find the marks for pins cut.
