Anybody know where the Orange County Daytona is? It was a Daytona, that I believe the Orange County Dodge dealer custom painted. I believe it was a HEMI Daytona that was Petty Blue, Red wing, with red hood inserts. I have seen it once in a Mag article and then never saw again. Anyone know the story on this car.

I thought I read a story on the guy that owned it and all awhile back but all I got is this right now.  I remember it from a hot rod/car craft from the early 80-'s.
Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

Dave B. (wingcars6970) knows the whole story on the car.  I think it was Jim Radke's car at the time, 409076.  Originally F6, HemiAuto, black interior.  IIRC he has sold it since.  I had a calendar with that car's pic on it many years ago.  Great car...

At the time of the article the car was owned by Pete Haldiman. who also is the guy my dad purchased his HEMI 500 off of.

Good stuff. I wonder if it is back to original now. I loved that car. Great article and great angles for the pics.
