Ya I would like to know if someone could tell me exact location where the wires are to hook a tach up it will probabely be an aftermarket one i can put on my dash. I have a wiring diagram and it shows the tach wire is blue and next to the tic toc clock that is what came with the car.

not all cars came with the tick tock option....      you need acc 12V from the fuse block and then run a wire to the (-) side of coil if your car does not have a factory tach set up.

Your car is a 73 so there was no tic toc tac  (not sure if thats what you meant or not).  Anyway... you either got a clock or a tach (or neither).  If your car didnt come with a tach (chances are it didnt) you will need to run the wire like R_T said.
