so, i've been meaning to learn Flash programming since forever and i came up with this to answer that nagging question, "will this wheel / tire fit?"

http://vexer.com/68rt/wheelguide.html

try it out and let me know what you think.  it obviously has some problems, like that you can setup impossible wheel & tire combos, but it's pretty close to accurate, IMO.  the top-down representation of the tire is currently pretty lame.  if i get enough motivation and time i'll add your suggestions and actually finish the parts of it that are, uhh, unfinished, like the side view.  and IF i really get adventurous (this is a big IF) i might try building something for front tire fitment.

ps.  it looks best with Firefox or Safari and you'll need at least Flash 8.
