Lighter interior on darker exterior door paint reference pic

Here is a cool one for you guys:

A rather odd F5 green with tan interior combo 1969  R/T SE.

As you know the F5 is darker than the door paint they use, which on tan in 1969 they used T3 light bronze. Here is a factory door I was studying tonight. The door still has remnants of the factory masking tape inside where they painted the T3. Looking at it close, it is obvious the door was first painted the T3 inside, masked off, then the F5 green was painted afterward. This means on this car the interior paint was not applied after the whole door was sprayed. I know most doors I have with black or green guts had the interior matching paint applied after the exterior coat.
