The hood louvers on my 1971 Charger R/T are not straight and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to straighten a set. The insert appears to be made of aluminum or similar material so I don't know how easy or if it can even be done. Any ideas out there! I have attached a photo to show you what it looks like today.

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Nope, they are not fiberglass. They are made of heavy cheap potmetal. Its not at all unusual for them to warp. The ones in the picture actually look much better than most. Because of the brittle nature of the potmetal, I doubt that straightening them is going to be very feasible. The 71 super bee insert is the one made of fiberglass.
